Plot & Storyline:
The story begins with, a prologue that explains the existence of lost nuclear warheads from a crashed Israeli fighter jet during the 1973 Yom Kippur War. These warheads remain hidden and forgotten for decades. Meanwhile, a neo-fascist group led by Richard Dressler gets hold of it.
In the present day, Jack Ryan is working as a young CIA analyst. Ryan is first seen in the movie as he unearths proof of Alexander Nemerov, a Russian nationalist who is poised to take office as Russia’s next president. Nemerov is initially seen as a moderate leader, but Ryan discovers evidence suggesting he may be involved in a plot to trigger a nuclear war.
