Anmol Bishnoi Lands in India: The Gangster Who Ran a Crime Empire from America

Welcome to theustales.com.

On a cold November morning in 2025, one of India’s most wanted men finally stepped on home soil again. Anmol Bishnoi (only 25 years old) touched down in New Delhi after the United States kicked him out. Heavy security waited at the airport. Within hours, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) arrested him. He is the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. For three years, Anmol lived abroad while running murders, shootings, and extortion rackets from thousands of miles away. Now the game is over.

Who Exactly is Anmol Bishnoi?

Anmol comes from a small village in Fazilka, Punjab. He is the younger brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, a name that sends fear across North India. At just 19, police first arrested Anmol for firing shots to scare a businessman in Jodhpur. He came out on bail in 2021. Soon after, he vanished in 2022 and never returned (until today).

He travelled on a fake passport under the name “Bhanu”. First he went to Dubai, then Kenya, then Canada, and finally the United States. Wherever he went, his phone never stopped ringing with orders for his gang back home.

How Did America Catch Him?

Anmol reached the US and quickly applied for asylum. But US officers found fake papers attached to his application. A court in Louisiana rejected his story. Meanwhile, Interpol had already put a Red Corner Notice against him. India kept pushing for his return. On 18 November 2025, the US Department of Homeland Security put him on a chartered plane with heavy guards. The next morning, he landed in Delhi.

The Long List of Crimes

Anmol faces at least 31 serious cases across Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, and Delhi. Police say he played a big role in three shocking crimes that shook the country.

First, the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in May 2022. Second, the firing outside Bollywood star Salman Khan’s house in April 2024. Third, the killing of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddique in October 2024.

Investigators say Anmol was the brain on the phone. He arranged guns, hideouts, money, and escape plans. Even though his elder brother sits in Gujarat’s Sabarmati jail, Anmol kept the gang running smoothly from abroad.

Life Inside the Bishnoi Gang

Lawrence started the gang years ago. However, after he went to jail, Anmol stepped up. He worked closely with Goldy Brar, a Canada-based gangster labelled a terrorist by India. Together they built a network of more than 700 shooters and helpers. Every year the gang earned crores through extortion and threats.

From the US, Anmol stayed in touch on secret apps. He sent money, chose targets, and celebrated every successful hit on social media. One gang member even said Anmol gave a nine-minute speech to motivate the two boys who fired at Salman Khan’s house.

A Major Win for the Police

On 19 November, NIA officers took Anmol straight from the airport to Patiala House Court in Delhi. The judge listened carefully. Then he gave NIA 11 days to question him. The court also ordered medical checks every 48 hours and video recording of every journey for his safety.

This arrest is a big blow to the Bishnoi gang. Officers believe Anmol knows every secret (where the money comes from, who the new recruits are, and which big attacks are still being planned). Many state police teams, especially from Rajasthan, are waiting for their turn to question him.

What Happens Next?

For now, Anmol stays in NIA custody. Investigators hope he will reveal the full map.. of the gang’s money trail and overseas links. If he talks, many more arrests could follow. Meanwhile, his elder brother Lawrence continues to watch from inside a Gujarat prison.

Three years ago, Anmol was just a college boy who left home. Today, he has returned as one of the most dangerous fugitives India has seen in years. The story of the Bishnoi brothers is far from over, but a very important chapter just closed at Delhi airport.
